You’re listening to the tolling from Westerkerk, a Protestant church on the sun-dappled Prinsengracht Canal in Amsterdam. The Frank family’s Secret Annex was two doors down from this 17th century church.
What a wonderful idea to link the audio to this post, Alison! I love the sound of church bells. And what an apt quotation from Anne Frank; why can't more people in this world share that sentiment?
