Alison Garwood Jones

For the month of May I teamed up with Jamii, my favourite Toronto arts organization, to lead a series of artistic discoveries.

When the world overwhelms, drawing, painting and writing remind us who we are. And sometimes — if you stick with it — they show us what we must do.

Spending time together beyond the algorithm rewired our nervous systems. We made collages and comics and other beautiful messes.

I shall miss our Wednesday night classes.
